Our interdisciplinary research team consists of data protection and IT experts, researchers from informatics, mathematics, statistics, data protection but also from educational sciences as well as highly skilled professionals and holds rich project and research experience within learning design, learning analytics and closely related areas.

What is the purpose of the Olivia web tool?

The Olivia web tool is designed to raise awareness among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) about the significance of personal data protection. Its primary goal is to assist these enterprises in comprehending their responsibilities within the framework of data protection laws. Olivia aims to empower users by providing insights into data protection principles and guiding them on the implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the personal data they handle.

The content in web tool Olivia is informative. Completion of all Olivia courses, self-assessment checklists, and the generation of templates for privacy policies, records of processing activities, consent forms, data protection impact assessments, legitimate interest assessments, and other documents DOES NOT GUARANTEE COMPLIANCE WITH GDPR AND NATIONAL DATA PROTECTION LAWS. ARC2 disclaims any responsibility for misinterpretation or misunderstanding of instructions related to template completion, self-assessment checklists, and other documents within the Olivia tool, as well as for any inaccuracies in document completion. If you are uncertain about how to fill out the templates, we strongly recommend seeking legal or technical advice from experts.
