About topic

Personal data flows to and from the EU/EEA are necessary for international trade and international cooperation. When personal data is transferred or made available to entities outside the territory of the EU or to international organizations, the conditions set out in Chapter V of the GDPR will apply. The overarching purpose of Chapter V is to ensure that the level of protection guaranteed by the GDPR is not undermined when personal data is transferred to "third countries or international organisations". This text provides a summary of the Guidance on the provisions in Chapter V of the GDPR, as well as links to more detailed information and guidance.

Certification information

After reviewing the video recordings and theoretical part, the user will be able to take a test (quiz) and answer questions to check their knowledge. The user will be presented with statements, and they can indicate whether they consider them to be true or false. After answering all the questions in the quiz, a section called RESULTS will appear with explanations for the quiz answers. The system will generate a certificate as proof of passing the theoretical sub-module if the user achieves a minimum of 80% correct answers.
